What is VersaTile?
VersaTile is a System 7 application that allows you to put virtually any desktop item on a palette for quick access. Clicking on the palette's tile will then open that item automatically. If you have System 7.5, you can drag and drop items onto palette tiles that contain folders, disks, or even the Trash and the dropped items will be moved to the appropriate locations. Drop documents onto tiles that contain applications and the application will open the document. Use VersaTile to create sets of icon palettes that are customized for the way you work, then use VersaTile's 'piggy-back' method to jump from palette to palette, task to task, without ever having to rummage through your desktop folders again.

Move items by dropping them onto palettes that contain disks, folders, or the trash. Drop items onto empty palettes to have the items appear on the palette tiles. Move tiles between palettes by simply dragging them to the new location.
• New Active Applications palette shows you what is currently running. Q-Click on the tile to quit the application. With System 7.5, you can drop documents onto the tiles of the Active Application palette to have the application open the document.
• New popup Folder Contents menu shows you the contents and allows you to easily open any item inside a folder placed on a palette tile.
